HEALTHY HIP HOP

I was very happy to find out from a Hip Hop artist about Hip Hop Health Education. Artists such as Dougie Fresh (I hope he's on time), and the legendary Easy A.D. have joined the founder, Dr. Olajide Williams MD MS in educating our children about Strokes and counting calories. I honestly believe if you want kids to listen and learn, put it in a rap song. It's extremely effective, REALLY IT IS!!

This past Wednesday on our radio show, DJ Leecy T and Kwame enlightened our listeners about juicing and eating healthy. It's a big deal now since a lot of our food really isn't food. I won't go any further on that, just enjoy the juice recipes below from DJ Leecy T. This reminds me, Russel Simmons is a Vegan as well as other public figures but you won't hear about it in a song. If you are ever in Brooklyn on Flatbush Ave, you may see me (Ms. Nee Nee) and Kwame at Vegetarian Palate- 258 Flatbush Ave, between St. Marks Ave and Prospect Place. MMMMMM MMMMMMM GOOD! You MUST HAVE the Crispy Nuggets w/ the hickory sauce. Ask for Tony, he's a real cool dude! Eat, Drink, Love, and Enjoy!
