Can we just say that our December 12th show was EXTRA DEF with a FEMININE SWAAANG? YA DAAAAAAAMN STRAIGHT IT WAS!!
Just look at the pics we took on-air... it was definitely a meeting of the minds of intelligent, beautiful women who love hip-hop and aren't sorry!!
The ladies of Equilibrium (Ms. Nee Nee, Ms. De La Leu, Nina and ya girl Crys Breezy) sat down and engaged in a funny yet thought-provoking conversation about women and our place in hip-hop. We talked about certain topics such as our favorite contemporary femcees, the "extra-sexy" femcee movement, and "owning" (or "disowning", rather) of the infamous "B" word. If you look to your far right, you will see a listing of the hot tracks Nina played throughout the show (time to hit up Itunes, Limewire or whatever and BLESS THOSE IPODS!).
A funny thought occurred though, that we'd like our listeners to respond to in the comments section. Do you think Female MC's will EVER earn as much respect from the hip-hop community as their male counterparts have? Speak on why or why not...
In the meantime, if you didn't check us on Wedneday... well... you get a pass this time. Why? Because WE HAVE THE ENTIRE SHOW FOR YOUR LISTENING PLEASURE, RIGHT HERE, COMING ATCHA!
